A Top Choice For RunnersGet ready, runners — the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon (KLSCM) is back for its 17th edition and it's bringing some exciting new twists! Considered as one of the best marathons in Malaysia, it's no surprise that the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon taking place on October 4-5 is fully sold out. This year, the race will start in the heart of the city and finish at the iconic Stadium Merdeka, adding an extra dash of history to your run. With Standard Chartered Malaysia renewing its title sponsorship until 2028 and new gold sponsors like ASICS and Pantai Hospital KL stepping in, KLSCM 2025 is gearing up to be bigger, bolder, and even more meaningful. Expect new challenges like the Run Club Challenge and State Youth Challenge, a strong focus on charity through the Run For A Reason program, and a continued commitment to being a greener, more sustainable race.

Presented By AIA VitalityFirst launched in 2014, the SCORE Marathon has made a name for itself as one of Malaysia's premier running events over the years. The upcoming SCORE Marathon 2025 by AIA Vitality, scheduled on July 13, 2025, in Putrajaya, promises to be a grand affair with the theme "Conquer Your Next Challenge." The event invites runners to push their boundaries and embark on an epic adventure, with categories including 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km, as well as a virtual run. A total of 33,000 runners have signed up for this epic event, so if you're one of them, get ready for a fantastic outing!
