Midwife Sofie Jacobs, who founded Urban Hatch, an online destination for midwife-led support, has just launched the brand’s first online antenatal course HATCH, designed to prepare modern couples for labour, birth and the arrival of a baby. Comprised of 32 educational videos delivered by Jacobs, the course covers the process of labour, coping strategies, medical interventions, immediate postpartum, the first days with a baby and feeding. Also included are real life testimonials, videos designed for partners, downloadable cheatsheets and checklists, details of offline-meet-ups as well access to an online community and live Q&A sessions.
The course is great not only for mums but also their partners. It's non-judgmental of whatever birth method is preferred and any choices made prior and post birth. Digestible videos are easily accessible so couples can learn at their own pace without having to attend weekly classes in person.
The course is accessible from anywhere, at any time and makes preparation for your baby easy, affordable and fun.
5% of each subscription fee goes to EVERY MOTHER COUNTS, a charity dedicated to providing antenatal care to mothers who are not able to afford it.
