Let your child experience a playful time with Casita!
Children learn best through play. At Casita, children are engaged in a themed sensory play that introduces them to various early learning concepts and texture exploration. Tactile play and manipulation help support their sensory learning and cognitive development by making sense of the world around them and engaging all their senses.
At Casita, they believe in a holistic approach when it comes to Early Years Education. They harness children’s innate need to move to music by pairing it with different activities like bubble play. They are motivated by the music while they practise hand-to-eye coordination, gross locomotor movements and spatial awareness as they reach and catch the bubbles.
Casita has been incorporating gross motor exercises in their classes as part of the holistic development of a child to improve balance, posture, and core strength. The use of different props also encourages sensory exploration, imaginative play, and social interaction with other children. The balance beam activity is one of the favorite activities of both teachers and children. Not only do the children get to practice a variety of skills, including walking, balancing, and jumping but they also gain better control of their bodies and develop self-confidence.
