How can we make the ball turn a corner? Go in a spiral? Jump over a gap? In this amazing pre-primary STEAM unit, our students will build exciting and imaginative structures with pathways for marbles and balls. Through testing and analyzing results, children will solve engineering problems and build bigger and better!
Math is all around, even for our youngest learners! From playing The Doghouse Game and Parking Lot in the Nursery to symmetry, estimation, and code solving activities in Kindergarten 3, this unit is designed to make everyone enthusiastic about Math!
Who doesn't love food? As well as being a fun and (sometimes) messy activity, the growing and preparation of food is science in action! Join us as we plant seeds and observe their growth, weigh and measure ingredients, learn about a healthy diet, and enjoy sampling a variety of dishes.
How can students use technology in the classroom? From pulleys and wedges to computers and video recorders, students will explore traditional and digital technology this week. Older students will use their new skills to make a short film.
Primary school interviews are just around the corner and can be a very daunting process for young children. Help prepare your child by enrolling him/her in the Tutor Time Interview Training Course, offered at K1, K2, and K3 levels. The course includes social interaction, good manners, following directions, gross and fine motor skills, expression of thoughts and ideas, and age appropriate academic skills.
