A-Level Retakes Now Available With MPW
Don't Settle For Second Best!
Most international schools in Hong Kong offer the IB programme, with local schools offering the (similarly structured) HKDSE. These are good curricula for students with a broad skill base across lots of subjects such as languages, humanities, sciences, arts and mathematics. However, if you feel that GCSE, A level or Foundation is more suited to your child, you could consider transferring into MPW from year 10-13. Mander Portman Woodward (MPW) is known as one of the UK’s best-known providers of bespoke fifth and sixth form education. This friendly, flexible college offers an outstanding learning environment, and their mission is to help our students develop their confidence, maturity, knowledge, and skills while turning their academic aspirations into reality.
They offer a broad curriculum with GCSEs and A-levels and Foundation:
* over 43 subjects
* small class sizes
* strong pastoral support and renowned university placement assistance and personal tutor for every student
* offering 1:1 support tuition after school, on Saturday mornings and during most school holidays, as well as their popular Easter Revision courses during the Easter holidays.

MPW is rated “outstanding” in all assessment areas at their last Ofsted, and ISI inspections and the Department for Education has placed them in the top 1% of all schools offering A-levels in the UK for A-level value added; disregarding colleges with fewer than 10 A-level students each year, they are placed number eight in the UK.
