Hong Kong’s Big Sleep Out

ImpactHK Hosts A Sleep Out To Support Refugees & Homeless People

2019 Dec 07

A Big Sleepout is a global effort in support of homeless people and refugees. Most of us will never be able to truly understand what it is like to be homeless. This experience, however, will allow us to better understand the challenges that homeless people face. Through empathy, we can come together with like-minded individuals to make an impact on society.

All the sleepouts will be held on the same day all over the world. Hong Kong’s event will take place at the Observation Wheel in Central Harbourfront! There will be fantastic musical performances, an open mic for participants to share their stories and through and there will even be video messages and stories by Will Smith and Helen Mirren!

Tickets for this event are priced at US$20 which is roughly HK$157. In addition to paying the entrance fee, you’re encouraged to participate in crowdfunding.

50% of the money raised goes to ImpactHK in support of the homeless. The remaining 50% goes towards ending homelessness around the world and supporting international refugees.

There will be exciting surprises at the event. Click here to find out more!
