With the outbreak of the coronavirus, Hong Kong citizens have mainly been stuck at home and feeling rather helpless. In this time of uncertainty, it’s natural to feel isolated and even frustrated. But there are ways we can do “our bit” to help. We have compiled a list of charities here in Hong Kong that you can contribute to.
CHARITIES THAT CAN YOU USE YOUR HELP:
– One Circle is collecting and distributing face masks to low-income individuals. Drop off your donations to 606, 6/F, Sunbeam Center, 27 Shing Yip St., Kwun Tong, Kowloon on weekdays from 11am to 7pm. Be sure to call Mr. Au +852 9673 9167 beforehand.
– The Bethune House Migrant Women’s Refuge is seeking surgical masks, alcohol, and sanitizers for their shelter for Hong Kong’s distressed foreign domestic workers. Donate here!
