90 Years of Mickey Exhibition

In honor of Mickey Mouse’s 90^th anniversary, the Walt Disney Archives presents a special ‘90 Years of Mickey Exhibition’ for the first time in Hong Kong at Times Square from September 21 to October 31, 2018.

* Ground Level Open Piazza – An Immersive and Captivating Mickey Mouse Experience for Local Fans – Disney fans of all ages can marvel at Mickey’s status as a ‘true original’ and his legacy through the years by seeing exclusive artifacts from the Walt Disney Archives.

* Ground Level Covered Piazza – Special Mickey Stamp Checkpoint and Photo Opportunity – kids can choose from 10 stamps exclusively made for the event.

Ground Level Covered Piazza – Magical Moments with Mickey Made Possible at Mickey Meet-and-Greet – True Disney fans wouldn’t to miss this, it will take place in October, watch this space for further details.

Second Floor Atrium – Iconic “Fantasia” Mickey Installation Pays Tribute to 90 Years of Mickey Mouse – A stunning the Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey from “Fantasia” standing at over 6-meters tall awaits families on the second-floor atrium.

Other highlights of the exhibition include:

• Reproduction of story scripts of the first theatrically-released Mickey film “Steamboat Willie,” which was produced in 1928. T
• Reproduction of animation drawings in graphite of the first Mickey film “Plane Crazy,” originally produced in 1928.
• A collection of Original Mickey Mouse Comic Books printed in Hong Kong in 1972.
• Original Mickey Mouse merchandise produced in the 1930s including a Mickey Mouse Ingersoll wind-up clock, memo book made in Hong Kong, and a Mickey Mouse doll designed by Charlotte Clark.
• A replica of the 1933 Mickey Mouse Ingersoll wrist watch with Mickey Mouse on the face.
• A reproduction of the Mickey Mouse – Standard Oil Map which was sponsored by Standard Oil Company of California and Travel Tykes Weekly Magazine back then.
