The Coffee Academics have opened their first location in Shanghai. Nestled in a corner of Dongping Lu this is set to have the locals wanting more.
Owner Liu wants all her coffee to be treated in a sustainable way. Did you know coffee goes through over 40 pairs of hands before it reaches your cup? She wants to make sure each of those pairs of hands are as sustainable as possible.
Global domination is certainly on her mind. She plans on opening stores in Tokyo and Paris. Each shop is slightly different, they use different machines, slightly altered menus and of course the décor is unique to its location.
So, next time you’re in Shanghai for work or pleasure be sure to check out their new location and sit back, relax and watch the busy streets around you.
Sustainable coffee in a cool and hip environment.
Coffee lovers, she makes unique recipes!
More stores will be opening across Asia and Europe.
