The Art Loop Children’s Art Tour returns for its 8th year, offering an engaging and educational experience for children aged 4-12. Designed to inspire young minds, this interactive tour introduces participants to proper gallery etiquette, allows them to engage with real artists, and explore a diverse array of artworks. The tour also includes a hands-on art project inspired by a live floral arrangement, encouraging children to sharpen their observation skills and experiment with contrasting colors and floral patterns. Each one-hour session is priced at HK$250 and runs from May 23 to 25, with multiple time slots available each day. This year's Affordable Art Fair embraces the inspiring theme "I am an art collector" creating an inviting space for art enthusiasts to explore a diverse array of artworks and for newcomers to embark on their art collecting journey. With a commitment to fostering the art community, the fair is an accessible and inclusive hub, bringing together local and international galleries, up-and-coming artists, seasoned collectors, and collaborative partners under one roof. The Sip & Sketch Workshop offers a unique opportunity for adults to indulge in creativity while learning from Eleanor McColl, a celebrated artist represented by the Hong Kong Arts Collective. Held at the Creative Hub, this exclusive workshop begins with a blind drawing exercise, followed by McColl’s signature scrumbling technique, and concludes with free-form collage and painting. Create your very own mixed-media botanical masterpiece to take home, all while enjoying a complimentary glass of wine. This workshop, co-presented by the British Consulate General Hong Kong, is perfect for those looking to unwind and express their artistic side. Priced at HK$250 per session, workshops run on May 22 and 23, lasting 45 minutes each. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.
