KKH Urgent Paediatric Advice Line (UPAL) In Singapore
Seek Advice For Common Paediatric Conditions
In response to the current COVID-19 situation in Singapore, KKH (KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital) has launched an online consultation service for parents and caregivers with children below the age of 17 years. This new pilot online service enables parents and caregivers to seek advice for common pediatric conditions (for children below the age of 17 years) such as fever, cough, diarrhea, vomiting as well as common injuries.
Do note that this service is not meant to replace consultation with qualified medical practitioners in any way and accuracy of advice given depends on what you input online, thus the advice provided may not be all-encompassing. In any case, if your child needs urgent medical attention, bring them to the nearest pediatric emergency department or call 995 in the event of an emergency. If you have kids with pre-existing or chronic medical conditions, it is not recommended to seek advice from KKH UPAL as your he/she may require more specialized care.
How do you use the service? Simply go to www.kkh.com.sg/upal and click on the banner above or launcher icon at the bottom right of the screen to get started. You may email them at feedback@kkh.com.sg with any comments on the UPAL experience.
