No-Sew Costume Making For Kids

Halloween means pumpkins and monsters. But easy Halloween crafts sessions will have your little pumpkins more excited than ever about the ghoulish day, which is why Studio Three Sixteen has something to share with you. From Halloween decorations and spooky, monster-inspired creations to simple pumpkin-based projects, lots can be done to make this day merrier. But for a safe and thoughtful craft session, join Studio Three Sixteen for a costume making session! Best of all, there’s no sewing involved! Learn to make your own Halloween costume using just humble, craft materials, cardboard boxes, some good old fashioned elbow grease and a blast of imagination. Trust us, this craft will be pretty enough to display right on your front porch! But we think you’ll agree that the single most important aspect of any kids’ craft is their ability to unleash their creativity and imagination.

Materials and tools will be provided and you will be able to make any one of these characters like a Dinosaur, Robot, PacMan, Rocket, Ice cream cone, Rainbow, and more. If you have a simple idea for your costume that doesn’t require sewing, bring that picture along (could be a sketch or picture or book) and instructor Michele will help you construct! As a finale, work together with everyone to make a scenic backdrop and take some photos of you to share with friends and family! This workshop is designed for 5 to 8 year olds and to be accompanied by a parent. Please indicate your child’s age and competency with tools at the time of sign up. If your child is outside of the age range but you really want to do the workshop, contact Studio Three Sixteen.
