School holidays are approaching! Parents, what are your plans for the kiddos? Especially for this Christmas, the historic and elegant Capitol Theatre is celebrating kids by opening its doors for a series of music, dance, and theatre school holiday programs for kids, teens and families this year-end. Immerse in Performing Arts Workshops at Capitol Theatre which is a part of Capitol Singapore’s and CHIJMES’ collaborative Christmas celebrations.
Workshops:
Académie of Star
Learn the story of The Nutcracker through acting techniques and leading to a full run that will be recorded on video. Those who are keen to learn about production roles in a theatre show may join the 90-minute “Happy Phantom” classes for an eye-opening experience.
Believer Music
Try out a new musical instrument and learn the basic melodies and rhythms of the Ukulele, Cajon or Guitar.
Recognize! Studios
Have taste of what it is like to perform as a K-Pop idol. Learn a set of K-Pop choreography, culminating in a video shoot of the dance at the end of the workshop.
Singapore Ballet Academy
Participate in a series of workshops which will weave in elements of the classical Nutcracker ballet.
