Young Chefs Academy

Ready, set, stir! At Young Chefs Academy, fab founders Julie Fabing Burleson and Suzy Vinson offer cooking classes for children in an environment that encourages discovery and creativity. While learning food preparation skills is the main ingredient at Young Chefs Academy, each class adds a heap of kitchen safety, a scoop of etiquette, a handful of table setting, a pinch of menu planning, and a bit of laughter to taste.

There are several programs, including the weekly classes, where young chefs learn basic kitchen safety, proper food handling, food preparation, cooking and baking techniques, presentation, table setting, manners, and more!

Cooking programs include:

* Kinder Cooks – designed to accommodate children aged 3 to 5

* Junior Chefs – offers a well-rounded approach to teach students ages 5 to 14 years old the skills necessary to develop their love of cooking

* Senior Chefs program – designed for students who have met specific criteria and are looking for a more in-depth culinary experience
