With some of the music industry’s most acclaimed musicians on hand to inspire, new music school M.int Academy is taking music education to new heights as it offers bespoke teaching methods that take learner aspirations first, doing away with the stiff exam-driven approach common in Hong Kong. The Academy’s expansive 6,000 square foot space in Wong Chuk Hang offers 17 practice rooms, each with piano, desk and seating for observers, as well as an auditorium for recitals and three theory classrooms.
The roster of teachers at M.int Academy is exceptional with award-winning musicians inspiring and educating students. These include violinists Jacob Reina Caro from Spain and TsuTi "Danny" Chang from Taiwan, talented woodwind multi-instrumentalist Joshua Jones from Wales, Hong Kong classical pianist Alexandra Louey and mezzo-soprano Melissa Sorohan, among others.
M.int Academy is open to aspiring musicians of all ages, with programmes for children aged three and up.
The Academy is supported by an advisory board that includes none other than pianist Yundi Li, and singer Warren Mok, one of China's 3 Tenors.
