For chef and health coach Shima Shimizu, food is medicine. After studying raw food cooking at Living Light in California, Shima became a raw food chef, before going on to study at The Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York. Shima now runs Sesame Kitchen where people can go and learn how to make healthy meals at home with a focus not only on raw food, but also on the GAPS diet, grain-free cooking and gluten-free dishes, as well as fermented foods and toddlers nutrition. Shima also has an Advanced Certificate in Child and Adolescent Nutrition.
Demonstrations and workshops include a hand-crafted miso class, healthy raw chocolate making, fermented food creation workshops, sour dough baking and even soap making.
Whatever your diet of choice - vegan, vegetarian, meat eater or restricted diet, Shima is on-hand to ensure you make better choices for you, your family, and the planet.
Healthier choices for the whole family.
As well as workshops and cooking classes, Sesame Kitchen supplies products for purchase to FoodCraft. Delivery is available for purchase of products over HK$500. Customers can also pick up ordered products from Sesame Kitchen and enjoy a 10% discount. Just include the discount code "pickup".
