Ardingly College Vietnam officially launched in early March 2026 with a formal event in Lao Cai attended by Mrs. Jo Hayter, Deputy Head (Pastoral & Co-Curricular) from Ardingly College UK. This marks the newest member of Ardingly’s global family of schools, joining campuses in the UK, China, and Kazakhstan.
What is Ardingly College Vietnam?
- The school rebrands and enhances the former Canadian International School Lao Cai on a stunning 10-hectare site with nearly 50,000 m² of floor space, featuring inspirational academic buildings, outstanding boarding facilities, excellent sports areas, and performing arts spaces.
- Ardingly College Vietnam offers British-style boarding alongside day-school options for local families. It provides both international and bilingual pathways, targeting students aged 11-18. The holistic approach emphasizes not only academics but also character development, leadership, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging—creating a supportive “family” environment where older pupils mentor younger ones.
The partnership with Khoi Nguyen Investment Group (KNI) builds on the collaboration that began in 2022. KNI, focused on high-quality education, previously operated the Canada International School system. Senior leaders from Lao Cai visited Ardingly in Sussex to exchange best practices on pastoral care and boarding, ensuring the highest standards for students.
