Grand Park City Hall hotel has re-opened and to celebrate, they’re launching a special staycation that is perfect for families and kids. Just in time for the March school holidays, “A Space Odyssey” is an Augmented Reality (AR) experience where guests can use their phones to venture into the galaxy and complete space-themed missions along the way. Kids will also get to learn more about different planets in the Solar System and get to design their very own planets.
These virtual tasks are not without rewards either. If you’re staying any time from now till June 30, 2022, you can redeem a free galaxy dessert at Tablescape Restaurant once you and the kiddos unlock Story Mode in the app by playing the game.
That’s not all when it comes to food! Treat kids below 12 years old to the 3-Course Galaxy Kids Menu that includes space-themed dishes like Shooting Star Margherita Pizza and Asteroid Attack, a purple pasta dish with chicken, hot dogs, and Parmesan cheese. The set is offered at a 20% discount if you’ve also booked the A Space Odyssey staycation, so why make it a full astronomical experience for you and the fam!
Staycations are a great way to relax, but the Space Odyssey theme takes it to the whole next level.
Families with kids who want to make their next getaway a little education as well.
The hotel also has a spacious pool so you and the kids can step outside for some fun in the sun!
