Top Classes And Resources To Help Domestic Helpers Get Financial Education In Singapore

Helping Your Domestic Worker Become Financially Independent And Secure

Migrant domestic helpers are a blessing to our households, from helping with our kids to cooking and so much more. There are around 246,000 migrant domestic workers in Singapore, which means about 1 in 5 Singapore households employ a maid.

Many domestic helpers come to Singapore to support their own families in their home countries, such as the Philippines or Indonesia. On average, domestic helpers will send 60 percent of their monthly income back to their families. Almost 75 percent of employees often take out loans without knowing how to repay them or borrow to help their families with money for typhoon damage and medical expenses.

So why not help empower your domestic helper with financial literacy so they can focus on taking care of your house and kids and not be distracted by financial worries. Check our top classes and resources to help domestic helpers receive financial education.
