Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) is turning up the volume for Chinese New Year 2026! From 16 January to 15 March 2026, the resort transforms into a high-energy, pop-inspired playground. This isn’t your average traditional celebration—expect bold colors, global art toy icons, and “world-first” experiences that will keep the kids (and your Instagram feed) very happy.
The resort has teamed up with POP MART to bring your favorite blind-box characters to life in massive proportions.
Character Spotting: Keep your eyes peeled for over-the-top installations of Twinkle Twinkle, DIMOO, PUCKY, and LABUBU scattered from the Grand Steps to Lake of Dreams.
The Prosperity Tree (WEAVE): Head to WEAVE to see a 3-metre tall Prosperity Tree. If you’ve been doing some retail therapy, you can give it a shake for a sure-win prize.
Lunar Lights: As the sun sets, the Lake of Dreams hosts the POP-SPERITY Show, featuring synchronized lights, flowing lanterns, and the arrival of the Dragon of Good Fortune.
The all-new Singapore Oceanarium (SGO) is celebrating its first CNY with an ocean-inspired twist on the zodiac.
Underwater Dragon Dance: Watch a breathtaking choreographed dive at the Open Ocean Habitat (daily at 3:30 PM) where seahorses and dragons dance together in the deep blue.
Multicultural Beats: Catch the “musical potluck” on Saturdays in February, featuring the Open Score Project and Artusik Ensemble for a festive soundscape.
USS is going cinematic for the Year of the Horse with exclusive roving spectacles and character meet-and-greets.
The Procession: Don’t miss the all-new Paws of Prosperity festive procession, featuring Kung Fu dancers and the Horses of Fortune.
DreamWorks Fun: Catch your favorite characters in the Lucky Lunar Reunion show and snag a fortune cookie for a lucky start to 2026.
Tickets: SG$83/Adult, SG$69/Child.
From fine dining to festive takeaways, the RWS culinary scene is on fire for 2026.
Fengshui Inn: Go for the Lobster Yu Sheng with Charcoal Honeycomb ($168) or the ultimate Wealth Treasure Pen Cai ($1,188).
CHIFA!: Try something different with Chinese-Peruvian fusion. Their Prosperity Lo Hei features 8-head abalone and a zesty maracuya plum dressing.
KA-MON: Celebrate with Japanese grilling traditions and their King Crab & Uni Donabe.
Takeaway Treats: Grab the Golden ‘Horse’ Jujube Cake ($58) or seahorse-shaped cookies to bring the luck home.
From 19 February to 1 March, RWS plays host to the Singapore Smash. Watch world-class table tennis action, participate in pro challenges, and maybe even spot a global sports star at the resort!
