This interactive and multi-sensory performance provides a safe and sensory-friendly environment for children and families on the autism spectrum and sensory sensitivities. This multi-sensory performance includes a narrative that is devised from interactive multi-sensory environment as well as a sensory-friendly set, props and costumes that audience members can interact with.
Riley, the raindrop, is lost and she is looking for her friends. Along the way, she meets Gerry the Dragonfly, Marco the Tiger, and the ever-elusive Lilypad, Lena. Join Riley and her friends on a windy adventure as she searches for the great downpour!
An activity kit incorporating sensory and interactive elements has been specially designed to include audiences on the autism spectrum, as well as those with sensory sensitivities, to enrich the story experience from home.
Instructions on how to assemble your very own activity kit, using commonly found items at home will be shared later at www.peerpleasure.org. The performance aimed to raise awareness on arts inclusivity and takes into consideration the audience’ needs in the process of artistic creation.
