Think Deepavali, think shopping! The largest outdoor Deepavali Carnival in the country is back once again this year in Bukit Jalil National Sports Complex. Agenda Suria Communication, the organizer of the 18th Deepavali Carnival 2019 will be showcasing all things Indian under one roof, and this is where you need to visit to find all sorts of decorative items, clothes, jewelry and more. The carnival started in 2002 with only 40 booths, and has since grown into the largest Deepavali carnival in Malaysia with over 400 booths selling accessories, sarees, lehengas, ghagra cholis and more.
You’re likely going to need almost a whole day to weave your way through all these stalls. But you don’t have to worry about sweating it out, since the shopping booths are all under an air-conditioned sheltered canopy space. Of course, it being a massive celebration, you can expect tonnes of activities lined up for you to take part in and the best part of this it’s free for all. So, what are you waiting for? Block off your calendar, gather your family and friends, and head on over to Bukit Jalil National Stadium for a vibrant yet colourful time.
