
Planning for friends and family to come visit? As part of the Hello Hong Kong campaign to attract visitors, the Hong Kong Government will be handing out up to 500,000 air tickets as well as spending vouchers and gifts; there will also be events and offers to look forward to in the city! Starting from this March, up to 500,000 free round-trip airline tickets to Hong Kong will be up for grabs, with the city's three carriers, Cathay Pacific, HK Express and Hong Kong Airlines, distributing most of them. Travelers from around the world will be eligible for them, with about three-quarters earmarked for visitors from Asia. The promotion will be rolled out in phases: firstly targeting Southeast Asia like Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia, followed by China, then Korea and Japan and finally the rest of the world in May. Tickets can be obtained through lucky draws and other competitions details of which will be announced soon. All tickets will be economy class, with checked baggage included.
And from July onwards, Hong Kong residents (as well as visitors from the Greater Bay area) will be entitled to win around 80,000 tickets!

Travelers to the city will be able to pick up free spending vouchers with HK$100 each until December 31, 2023 (the offer is available for visitors staying in Hong Kong for 90 days or less). the vouchers can be obtained from all five Tourism Board Visitor Centers, including the one at the arrivals level of Hong Kong International Airport. Vouchers can be redeemed at one of over 140 restaurants, shops of attractions in Hong Kong. Find all the details here.
Visitors to the city can choose from more than 100 bars, restaurants and hotels to redeem their complimentary welcome drink; for the complete list of participating outlets, click here. As part of the Hong Kong goodies campaign, free welcome gifts will also be distributed, details of which will be announced soon.
The 51st Hong Kong Arts Festival, Clockenflap, Art Basel, the Rugby 7s are just some of the big events being planned this year in a bid to attract tourists and visitors back to the city.
