Shilin Singapore, which takes its name from Taiwan’s famous Shilin Night Market, will be happening over two weekends in June — virtually. With its first large-scale digital festival, it promises to deliver the same food, drinks, games, entertainment and multi-sensorial experience that people love. The innovative digital concept also champions local businesses and artisans by providing them with an alternative platform to generate revenue, while bringing a sense of fun and community during COVID-19. Expect four online interactive zones — Eat, Shop, Play and Fun — featuring close to 100 local and regional digital pop-up stores like Playmade, D’bun, Scent by Six, Yin Zun Handmade Soap, Mori and more at this year’s edition. From cult favourites and under-the-radar artisans to established celebrities and local buskers, there is plenty to experience including easy-to-follow cooking segments, signature delectables to sample and crowd participation in hilarious variety shows.

Expect the same fun as last year, but digitalised to be one with technology. With new elements like live-streaming in entertainment, social shopping and online games, Digital Shilin Singapore 2020 is out to take over the Internet!
