The Slate’s newly revamped Tin Box Kids Club offers a variety of programmes for children of all ages. Older kids can enjoy the Little Chef programme and learn to cook various recipes, or can pick up some Muay Thai self-defense techniques through the Little Boxers experience. There’s a Little Sommelier class with blind smelling and fasting of juices, as well as Little Spa with 30-minute themed massages, face-painting and hair-styling, as well as Little Night Safari that takes kids out after dark in search of fauna. Little Detectives can go off on treasure hunts around the resort.

Children’s slumber parties can also be arranged with in-room tent, torch, marshmallows and colouring book set. As part of the Little Miner’s programme, kids under 12 receive a folded animal towels, kids slippers, a children’s dressing gown in their room, and a Little Miner’s T-shirt on departure. Children under 12 can also enjoy a complimentary dinner and movie by the pool with popcorn.
