Leisure Farm is founded by one of the many mums who share the same passion for healthy food. Believing that education is the foundation of sustainability, they teach kids to go organic by holding parent-child farming workshops and events. Apart from regular courses, the two-hour intensive class is ideal for busy beginners. They also produce their own wood ashes and teach you how to make your own derris insecticide.

CITY FARM
Convenience is gold in Hong Kong and City Farmobviously knows the game! Located in Tai Koo Shing, Kwun Tung and Tsuen Wan, they have rooftop farms spread across all three main territories so as to make sure farming enthusiasts do not have to travel far for their crops. All locations are open eleven hours a day and seven days a week. Farming box comes in three sizes and they offer courses tailor-made for beginner, intermediate and advanced farmers.

URBAN OASIS
Not all roof gardens are disability friendly. Luckily, Urban Oasis gets it taken care of! Located under flyovers, all facilities in this 45,000 square foot Ngau Tau Kok urban lung are designed to ensure full accessibility. There are 350 plots on the site and some of the planter boxes are constructed specifically for wheelchair users.

HK HONEY
HK Honey, established in 2010, is a network of bee farms and beekeepers in Hong Kong and has installed a number of beehives on their rooftop farm in Ngau Tau Kok. Their urban beekeeping workshops teach you everything you need to know about beekeeping ethics, beehive maintenance and honey harvesting. They also give bilingual beeswax candle-making workshops.
