Exciting news! One of Portugal’s most cherished bakeries, Manteigaria, is finally making its way to Hong Kong this year. After launching two successful branches in Macao, the renowned bakery is expanding to the neighboring SAR, with its much-anticipated debut set for the first quarter of 2026.
Founded in Lisbon’s historic Chiado district in 2014, Manteigaria is celebrated for crafting some of the most exquisite pastéis de nata in the world. The bakery’s artisanal preparation techniques, perfected over the years, result in divine custard tarts with a beautifully caramelized top and irresistibly flaky pastry shell.
