All You Need To Know About FutureScope: Hong Kong’s First Immersive Art Dome At Kai Tak

This winter, FutureScope is set to transform the Kai Tak waterfront into a multi-sensory ArtTech playground with Hong Kong’s first-ever large-scale immersive art dome. Running from 19 December 2025 to April 2026, this 12-metre hemispheric dome offers a 360° experience of light, sound, and moving visuals, all set against the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour. Curated by FutureTense and led by Hong Kong media artists in collaboration with world-class creators, the project promises to be a cutting-edge fusion of art and technology.

From December to April, FutureScope will feature three immersive experiences: Perpetual Records, Resonance Aura, and Waving Script. The opening chapter, Perpetual Records by XCEPT (19 Dec 2025–4 Jan 2026), transforms visitors’ faces into real-time geometric patterns in a 360° crystalline universe. Combining facial recognition, soundscapes, and light, it creates a unique, evolving digital artwork.
General entry is free, while ticketed performances are available. Sessions last 30 minutes, with strict scheduling and no late entry. The event is outdoors but fully covered.
