From beginner’s knitting workshops to crochet classes, Yarn in the Works is helping everyone make their own purses, scarves, baskets, beanies and more, as well as providing all the accessories required to do so – from a wide selection of wools and yarns to knitting needles, crochet hooks and more. With regular knit nights, a haberdashery and a calendar of workshops and classes, some held by visiting teachers, Yarn in the Works is the answer to all your knitting needs and offers great opportunities for kids to expand their skill sets and have fun!
Yarn in the Works can provide tailor-made children's parties and workshops that are perfect for making your little ones happy with something a little bit different on their special day. A range of classes are also open to young participants.
Children's party workshops and other classes are suitable for kids aged from around seven (there's finger knitting for littler ones), and aimed at all levels, from complete beginner to the more experienced knitter. Other classes are open to all.
A weekly Knit Night takes place every Thursday from 7pm to 9pm and is free to attend.
