Virgin Australia has launched its inaugural flight between Hong Kong and Sydney, which will offer passengers greater choice when traveling between the two cities. The daily service sees flights depart from Hong Kong in the evening to arrive early the following morning, perfect for those who want to make the most of their time, while the return flight departs Sydney mid-morning, landing in Hong Kong in the late afternoon or early evening.
Virgin Australia has also partnered with Hong Kong Airlines and Hainan Airlines to offer onward travel from Hong Kong to a further 17 destinations and to offer Business Class passengers and eligible members of Virgin Australia’s loyalty programme access to the lounges of these airlines in Hong Kong International Airport.
Virgin Australia’s new flight, which utilises the airline’s Airbus A330-200 fleet, offers both frequent and infrequent travellers to Sydney greater choice when planning their trips.
Travellers looking for alternative flight options between Hong Kong and Sydney.
In-town check-in and bag drop will be available for Virgin Australia flights to Sydney at both Hong Kong and Kowloon Airport Express stations, while those transferring from ferry ports within the Pearl River Delta and Macau will be able to use the Sky Pier check-in and bag drop service.
