Get The Uniquely Flavored Mooncakes @ Their Pop-Up Boutique!
Come Mid Autumn festival in Hong Kong; The Peninsula releases some of the city’s finest mooncakes to the public. This year, in addition to selling these festive treats at the hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, the shop in the airport and boutiques in Harbour City and Times Square, The Peninsula will be selling the goods at an exclusive pop-up boutique called “Moonlit August by The Peninsula” in Central. This unique pop-up boutique will offer soothing teas to pair with the delicious Star Chef mooncakes.
This five senses experience will welcome customers with 52 gigantic lotuses that will adorn the entrance of the pop-up boutique. Each of the 52 lotuses represents each week in the year! There will even be a tasting everywhere to try out all the wonderful flavors that are offered.
This event is also sustainable. You can return your mooncake boxes at The Peninsula Arcade in Tsim Sha Tsui for online boutique shopping coupons. The mooncake boxes will be upcycled into chess sets for charity sales!
