Hong Kong’s Children’s Discovery Museum is putting together a fantastic exhibition until November 4th, and the theme is “Amazing Bugs!” Some kids may love bugs and others may find them freaky, but the exhibition has been curated to instill a sense of wonder and appreciation for all the wonderful bugs that help our earth work. This special exhibit is free to access with admission to the whole museum.
The exhibition will include features for over 30 bug species, interviews with local bug experts and special additions to the regular exhibits. Here are a couple of the many highlights:
* At Story Stage! you will be able to create stories about bugs with storyboards, puppets, bug-like costumes and even a green screen that will transplant you into a bug habitat.
* For the infants at Transit Tots, there will be bug-themed storybooks and toys.
* For the artsy kids, the Tinkering Lab will offer the opportunity to design a new bug species, communicate like a firefly and view bug X-rays with Light It! and join a facilitated demonstration with live bugs at using a video microscope.
What: Learn all about bugs through interactive play for kids of all ages!
When: Now to November 4!
Where:
