The new iteration of this historic restaurant offers an exciting variety of spaces under one roof, including a cozy dining lounge, a stylish cocktail bar, a crudo bar, main dining rooms, and a private dining area perfect for special occasions. Families will particularly appreciate the convenient weekday breakfast options, right in the heart of Central!
If you are looking for a perfect spot for a work meeting over coffee or lunch, Jimmy’s Kitchen is a must-visit. Families love the weekday breakfast for a treat above the casual options in the area. With its warm atmosphere and diverse menu, this iconic restaurant invites everyone to come and savor the flavors of its remarkable history while enjoying a modern twist.
The Scoop:
- Breakfast: Start the day with a renowned Full English Breakfast, featuring brown butter eggs and Iberico ham, or indulge in fluffy pancakes, available Monday-Friday from 8am-10am. The location is right next to Hong Kong MTR (inside Pedder Building) making it a perfect meeting place for work or bring the kids for a fancy early brekkie in Central.
- Lunch And Afternoon Tea: Lunch is served from 12 noon-3pm daily.
- Afternoon Tea: Families or groups of gal pals can enjoy afternoon tea from 3pm-5pm, Monday to Friday.
- Dinner: As the sun sets, the kitchen welcomes diners for dinner from 6pm-11pm every day, featuring classic dishes with contemporary twists, such as Madras curry served with assorted chutneys and rice, chicken supreme ‘Kiev’ with garlic herb butter, and beef stroganoff. Diners can also complete their meal with the restaurant’s show-stopping baked Alaska, prepared and flambéed tableside.
- Weekend Brunch: On weekends, the brunch menu is available from 12 noon-3pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Happy Hour: Happy hour in Central – this is your spot! It’s on from 4pm-7pm daily. Try one of Jimmy’s signature cocktails, such as the Borscht Mary made with grilled vegetable-infused vodka.
