Sensory stimulation is an essential part of a baby and toddler’s development. During sensory play sessions, they will discover their five senses, while seeing, feeling, touching, hearing and tasting, and have a great time doing so! Hong Kong is heaving with baby and toddler playgroups, and we’ve gathered all the ones specializing in sensory play right here for you! We’ve also included local Hong Kong vendors selling amazing sensory activity kits, so your kid can have their own play session right at home (cleaning up service not included)!

For nearly 30 years, the International Parent Infant Program (PIP) has been a trusted partner for Hong Kong families during the precious first year of life. More than just playtime, PIP’s expert-led 75-minute classes weave together purposeful movement, sensory play, reflex integration, and baby massage—helping little ones build strength, balance, coordination, fine motor skills, and body awareness.
In this safe, fully equipped studio, every session is designed to nurture not just physical milestones but also cognitive development, problem-solving abilities, and early communication. Parents can also tap into PIP’s wealth of knowledge through practical workshops on feeding, sleep, and first aid, tailored to the needs of modern families. With qualified professionals guiding every step, PIP is where babies thrive, and parents leave feeling supported, informed, and confident.

Specializing in the Reggio Emilia approach, Little Nature Wanderlust hosts regular playgroups across Hong Kong as well as seasonal camps where children can engage in edible sensory play, develop their fine motor and gross motor skills and create art and music. The one-hour sessions also include mindfulness and yoga. Casita runs several playgroups at their beautiful Sheung Wan location, and sensory (and very messy!) play and activities are always integrated within their classes.
Spring is another great place for sensory play workshops and activities: their Neurosense program starts from birth will see your little ones discover their dedicated sensory room - they even have a water feature! The Mini Dalton sensory playgroup will have kids getting their hands dirty with play dough, water, sand, shaving cream and much more!
Want to keep your baby or toddler busy at home? These sensory activity kits are guaranteed to keep your little one engaged and stimulated for hours. Not only does Little Nature Wanderlust provide playgroup sessions (and even hosts parties!) but also sells amazing activity kits.
