Dinners, Events & Initiatives Supporting The Victims Of The Tai Po Fires

The devastating Tai Po fires on November 26 have left many families and victims in need of urgent support, and the community’s heartfelt response has been truly inspiring. Beyond donations, numerous fundraising events are being held across Hong Kong to provide aid and raise awareness for those affected. We’ve compiled a guide to these events so you can get involved and make a difference.

  • Black Sheep Family Fund: Donations To Feeding Hong Kong

    December 2025

    The Black Sheep Family Fund has launched three key initiatives to support the Tai Po community following the devastating fire that left many families displaced and grieving.

    • Matching Donations to Feeding Hong Kong: Until December 31, all Black Sheep restaurants will include an optional $10 donation on checks, with every dollar matched by Black Sheep and contributed to Feeding Hong Kong for Tai Po relief.
    • Dinner for a Cause: On December 4, Chef ArChan Chan will host a special fundraising dinner at Peng Leng Jeng, with all proceeds benefiting those affected. Additional donations will also be accepted during the event. Book your spot here.
    • Hot Meal Deliveries: Black Sheep will provide freshly prepared hot meals to families displaced by the fire as part of ongoing recovery efforts.

    For those unable to attend, direct donations can be made at blacksheepfamilyfund.org. All contributions will go directly toward rebuilding and supporting the Tai Po community.

  • TOP SWOP: Ticket sales Go Towards The Hong Kong Red Cross

    December 13 & 14, 2025
    • What: Join the Top Swop Club on December 13 and 14, 2025, at Terrible Baby for a sustainable fashion swap event. Bring your pre-loved clothing and exchange them for new-to-you pieces, promoting eco-friendly practices and reducing waste. In light of the Tai Po fires, which have left many families in unimaginable situations, Top Swop is stepping up to help. All ticket proceeds from this event will be donated to the Hong Kong Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to support their efforts in providing safety and care to affected families.   • JIA Group Presents: Chefs United for Tai Po Charity Dinner

    December 9, 2025
    • What: Louise is joining forces with JIA Group chefs (Loïc Portalier (Louise), Agustin Balbi (Andō), Antonio Oviedo (22 Ships), Ricardo Chaneton (MONO), Manav Tuli (Leela), and Antimo Merone (Estro)) to host a special 7-Course Charity Dinner on Tuesday, December 9, featuring an exclusive selection of rare wines available by the bottle. Held across the entire venue at Louise in PMQ, this event begins at 6 PM, offering a unique dining experience for HK$3,888 per person (plus 10% service charge). All proceeds will go directly to the Hong Kong Red Cross to provide vital support for victims and their families.

  • The Rescued Feast: Friendsmas After Dark In Benefit Of Tai Po

    December 11, 2025
    • What: The Rescued Feast returns on December 11, 2025, at 7 PM, in partnership with Fenxiang and Soho House. This community fundraiser will feature a buffet made from rescued food scraps, sustainable prizes, and a late-night disco. Tickets are priced at HK$550, including entry, the buffet, one drink, a goody bag from sponsors, and a discount code for disco attire from Fenxiang. All net proceeds, including raffle ticket sales, will be donated to Tai Po fire victims and Bethune House, an emergency shelter providing essential food, medical care, and support for migrant domestic workers.

  • Vegan Cooking School's Cooking For Tai Po: Family- Friendly Christmas Baking Class

    December 13, 2025
    • What: Join the Vegan Cooking School for a family-friendly Christmas baking class on December 13th, 3–5 PM, at their Sai Ying Pun studio. Learn to make festive treats like Gingerbread Cookies, Snowman Truffles, and a Chocolate Pastry Star—all vegan, wholesome, and kid-friendly. Tickets are HK$852 per family (2 adults, 2 children per kitchen station), with 100% of proceeds donated to Feeding Hong Kong to support Tai Po fire relief efforts.

  • Zuma Hosts Charity Event

    December 8, 2025
    • What: Zuma Hong Kong is hosting a charity event on Monday, 8 December 2025, from 4–7pm at the 5/F terrace to support those affected by the recent Tai Po tragedy. During the event, all proceeds from the Nomikai terrace cocktail menu, along with a matching donation from Zuma, will be donated to Yan Chai Hospital to aid victims and their families. Guests are invited to join this meaningful initiative and contribute to supporting the community in need.

  • Harmony For Hope

    December 8, 2025
    • What: Come together for a meaningful evening of music and support, bringing strength and hope to the families of Wang Fuk Court. The concert features performances by talented Hong Kong musicians across classical, jazz, and pop, alongside students, parents, and community music groups. All proceeds will be donated to the HKCSS x Caring Company Scheme – Support Fund for Tai Po Wang Fuk Court. Donations are also welcome for those unable to attend.

  • Trattoria Felino To Host A One-Night Only Charity Dinner

    December 22, 2025
    • What: Trattoria Felino will host a special charity dinner on 22 December to support families affected by the Tai Po fire, a tragic event that has deeply impacted the community. For one night only, renowned chefs from Tosca di Angelo, ÉPURE, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, Lobster Bar & Grill, L’Envol, Clarence, and Chef Marco Xodo will join host Chef Marcello Scognamiglio to present a beautiful multi-course menu. Cocktails and desserts will be crafted by Sugar King, led by John Nugent and Angel Chiu. All proceeds from this event, including food and beverage revenue, will be donated to the Hong Kong Red Cross to support their Tai Po Fire Emergency Appeal.
