Lee Tung Avenue in Wan Chai has you covered with its “Luminous Carnival” – an enchanting winter festival inspired by the vibrant traditions of European carnivals. From November 21, 2025, to January 1, 2026, the avenue will transform into a magical wonderland filled with dazzling lights, festive markets, snowfall shows, and much more. And with the family-friendly Hopewell Mall just steps away, you can plan an unforgettable day of holiday fun for the entire family.
Highlights of “Luminous Carnival”
- Dazzling Light Displays:
- 8-metre-tall Christmas tree, a glowing 7.5-metre-wide Ferris wheel, floating hot air balloons, and carousel horses create a whimsical European carnival vibe.
- The “Luminous Symphony” light and music show runs every 20 minutes from 5:30 PM daily.
- Snowfall Spectacle:
- Experience magical snowfall every Friday and Saturday in December, as well as on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve at 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm at the Central Piazza (15 minutes per session)
- Santa’s Flash Mob:
- Santa Claus and his cheerful crew (snowmen, elves, gingerbread men, and reindeer) will perform lively flash parties on December 20 and 25, at 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM.
- Festive Markets:
- Orbis Charity Pop-up (Nov 21-23 & 28-30): Shop handmade crafts and gifts while supporting Orbis’s sight-saving work.
- Nordic Christmas Market (Dec 5-7): Explore Scandinavian culture with traditional workshops, artisan gifts, and a visit from Swedish Santa Claus.
