With performances by international troupes and talented artists, the 2025 edition guarantees smiles, laughter, and creative inspiration for audiences of all ages. Step into the buzzing world of A Bee Story, a circus-theatre fusion that follows two bees rebuilding their hive after a storm. Acrobatics, aerial artistry, and humor deliver an eco-friendly message about teamwork, resilience, and the importance of caring for the environment — all set to mesmerizing music and brilliant physical performances.
This beloved fairytale gets a creative Japanese twist as Theatre Company Hikosen brings Jack and the Beanstalk to life with colorful puppetry and dynamic staging. The performance combines classic storytelling with stunning craftsmanship, offering a heartwarming experience for young audiences as Jack learns courage and imagination can overcome any obstacle. In Cantonese with English subtitles, suitable for ages 3 and above.
A magical fusion of music, puppetry, and live filmmaking, The Storyville Mosquito tells the tale of a tiny insect chasing his dream of becoming a musician in the big city. Canadian DJ and multimedia artist Kid Koala leads a 14-member team who perform, film, and score the action live, creating an unforgettable cinematic theatre experience for the whole family.
Cirquework’s contemporary circus show YOAH makes its Hong Kong debut with a visually dazzling tale inspired by ‘The Moon at Dawn (Hope)’. This breathtaking spectacle follows a courageous girl through an underworld adventure, confronting four sinister wizards and overcoming darkness thanks to the moon’s guidance. Audiences will be captivated by acrobatics, dance, diabolo juggling, and innovative lighting effects. The show is suitable for ages six and up, with workshops for children and youth to learn diabolo skills and a special backstage tour to explore circus magic firsthand.
Winner of multiple European awards, Laika tells the heartfelt story of the world’s first space-faring dog—Laika, the clever stray from Moscow in 1957. This imaginative production mixes live puppetry, rear projection, automatons, and shadow play, creating a visually stunning trip into history. Performed in English with Chinese and English subtitles, it invites families to reflect on progress, compassion, and adventure. Also included is a creative workshop with the artists, allowing children to explore the magic behind the scenes.
