The transformation into Venner, meaning “friends” in Norwegian, is the brainchild of Elin and her partner Nelson. Drawing inspiration from her time living in Norway, Elin has created a cozy, all-day café that celebrates the warmth and simplicity of Nordic culture.

Venner offers an inviting space for patrons to enjoy freshly baked Nordic pastries, expertly brewed coffee, and a curated selection of natural wines. Signature treats include cinnamon buns, solskinnsboller (custard-filled sunshine buns), and the decadent verdens beste (“world’s best” cake). For matcha lovers, their coconut matcha has quickly become a customer favorite.

The café is open for all-day dining, but on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, Venner extends its hours into the evening, offering a cozy dinner experience complemented by its thoughtfully curated wine list, and reservations are available for these late-night slots
