
India By The Bay is a festival of Indian performing arts, cultural dynamism and contemporary offerings of literature, music, and theater. Back for its sixth edition, the festival is co-presented by Teamwork Arts and Asia Society Hong Kong Centre and supported by the Consulate General of India in Hong Kong.
There will be a fun mix of events at the festival, each with varying prices and themes. The events range from music and dance to yoga and literature. Here are a couple of highlights from each theme to look forward to:
FILM HIGHLIGHT: DBS Bollywood Spotlight will be a candid conversation with Shatrughan Sinha. He will talk about his movies, politics, life and views.
FOOD HIGHLIGHT: TheGala Dinner With Chef Picu and Raw Mango.
LITERATURE HIGHLIGHT: Sandeep Unnithan, author of Black Tornado: The Three Sieges of Mumbai 26/11 will share his insights.
HOLISTIC SUNDAY HIGHLIGHT: The Power of Breathing, a Yoga and Transformation workshop with Daniel Simpson, takes place on.
MUSIC HIGHLIGHT: East West – A Legacy by Shubhendra and Saskia Rao takes place on.
DANCE HIGHLIGHT: Srjan an Indian classical dance performance.
THEATRE HIGHLIGHT: Nothing Like Fear by Vinay Pathak.
India By The Bay is back in Hong Kong this April! Kids can learn about vibrant Indian dances, enjoy arts and crafts, dance to Bollywood music, enjoy yoga, and more.
