THE SCOOP: What To Expect At Hong Kong Academy’s Playgroup?
Discover a structured pathway to their Pre-K programme
- Active & Specialist Play: Toddlers now have access to “big school” facilities, specifically the gymnastics space (trampolines/soft play) and the HKA Library for story time and reading.
- Sensory & Nature-Based Learning: It’s all about “messy” fun, as kids can get stuck in at the mud kitchen, go bug hunting, and explore the sensory gardens.
- The Admissions Advantage: Consistent Playgroup attendance means you can waive the Pre-K assessment. Upon enrolment into Pre-K, all Playgroup fees become a tuition fee deposit and are deducted from tuition fee invoices, making Playgroup a great-value and stress-free entry point! Apply now!

- Who Should Join? Children aged 18 months – 3 years and parents keen to explore the offerings at HKA playgroup. Children aged 3-16 years are also welcome at HKA Exploration Day!

Pique Their Curiosity
Outdoor play options include the mud kitchen, ride on toys, bikes, climbing, balancing, bug hunting, pond dipping and gardening. For arts and crafts, there's painting, collage and mark making, while sensory activities include having fun with play dough, shaving foam, water play, goop, slime, mud and sand.
There's also a calm corner with books for quiet play, plus story time, singing and dancing to look forward to!
