This enchanting exhibition celebrates the 80th anniversary of the Moomins and brings to life the very first story, “The Moomins and the Great Flood”. Written in 1945 by Finnish-Swedish author Tove Jansson, this tale introduces us to Moominmamma and Moomintroll as they search for Moominpappa, traveling through dark forests, befriending quirky characters like Sniff, and enduring a great flood that leaves them adrift. Fans will also get to witness the family’s arrival in Moominvalley and the discovery of the iconic Moominhouse, which plays a central role in this anniversary celebration.
The exhibition promises immersive installations and charming displays that bring the Moomin world to life, making it a perfect outing for families, long-time fans, or anyone curious about these adorable hippo-like creatures.
