With diverse curriculum options for every learner, Dover Court International School (DCIS) recognizes that personalized learning starts with knowing each student, and their specially trained teachers help students earn exceptional ‘value-add’ scores.
Challenging the assumption that only selective schools have strong academics, inclusive schools such as Dover Court not only produce outstanding results but also provide opportunities for more students to experience success.
Dover Court challenges the outdated notion that only selective schools deliver top results. Their data and story prove that inclusion and excellence are not mutually exclusive—they are inseparable. When every student receives the right support, they can achieve remarkable things. At DCIS, inclusion is not just a value; it is a strategy for success.
DCIS offers a rich and varied curriculum designed to meet the needs of all learners. From the English National Curriculum to IGCSEs, BTEC Diplomas, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP), students have multiple academic routes to success.
In 2025, their students achieved outstanding results: 54% of IGCSE grades were at 9–7 (A*/A), and 95% were at 9–4 (A*–C), with more than half exceeding their targets. Notably, 12% of candidates achieved a perfect 100% in grades 9-7. Their BTEC programs, meanwhile, maintained a 100% pass rate, with a strong proportion of Distinction and Merit grades. The IB Diploma cohort achieved an impressive average score of 36, with a top score of 44 and an average subject grade of 5.7 – well above the global averages.
These achievements are rooted in the school's personalized approach to learning. Individual Learning Plans, targeted support, and enrichment opportunities ensure that every learner is challenged and supported appropriately.
Graduates go on to secure places at leading universities worldwide, including Russell Group institutions and highly competitive courses. Luka’s story is a powerful example: he began his journey in Pathway 2 with additional support, transitioned to Pathway 1, and graduated with 42 points in the IB Diploma. Today, he is preparing to study Computer Science at the National University of Singapore – a top 10 global university.
Beyond academic achievement, they provide supra-curricular opportunities that inspire and stretch learners. Model United Nations, UKMT Mathematical Challenges, MIT competitions, Global Campus projects, DCIS Wolves sports teams, FOBISIA events, and leadership programs enrich students’ experiences and strengthen their university applications.
At DCIS, their teachers are not only subject specialists but also experts in inclusive strategies. They receive ongoing training from in-house speech and language therapists and educational psychologists and through regional conferences that share best practices in inclusive education, including Nord Anglia Education’s Regional Teaching and Learning Conferences and Neurodiversity Conferences.
The impact of this approach is clear in their value-added scores. At GCSE, the school's score of +0.7 reflects significant academic growth across all ability levels.
DCIS is redefining academic excellence through a whole school commitment to inclusion, helping all students to go further.
