Blue House is a school designed and built by the community. Providing an invigorating and responsive learning environment for curious, competent, and capable minds! This nursery and international preschool is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, where children are provided with opportunities to construct knowledge based on their interests.

The environment also plays a vital role in the learning process and is often referred to as “the third teacher”. The indoor and outdoor spaces at Blue House have been purposefully built to encourage research, encounters, communication, and relationships.

THE PROGRAMS AT BLUE HOUSE:

The Infant and Toddler Atelier Programs

Age:  6 months – 36 months

Adults are welcomed into the comfortable, curated space and invited to accompany their child through the learning experience, providing a trusting, supportive and powerful presence that encourages a child to engage, take risks, and test their theories.

Transition to the nursery drop off program is known to be much smoother for both children and parents who move from the Atelier as classroom environments, resources and experiences have a sense of familiarity which is a great comfort for young children in the early days of settling.

Drop Off Programs

Age: 18 months to 6 years old

Parents can choose a flexible program – two, three, or five days per week with the option of half or full-days.

Discovery Programs

Blue House, also offers a series of optional Discover Classes, which are hosted by a range of in-house Specialist Educators offering optional weekly classes in Music, Art and Mandarin. These classes have been created to provide kids unlimited lenses through which they can communicate their thoughts and feelings about the world!
