Get ready for the return of Baybeats, the ultimate indie rock and alternative music festival from Oct 6 to 8, 2023 at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay. With a mix of local and international acts, this 22nd edition is bigger and better than ever. Here’s what to expect:
- Global Acts: Baybeats 2023 features 40 local and global acts, including Taiwan’s dream pop band I Mean Us, and Hong Kong music producer Hirsk.
- Powerhouse2 Stage: Headbang to the thrilling line-up at the Singtel Waterfront Theatre, featuring British math rock icons Delta Sleep and Filipino indie rock band Urbandub.
- Local Legends: Don’t miss The Great Spy Experiment and Wormrot with Spanish vocalist Gabriel Dubko and multidisciplinary artist Weish.
- Arena at DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre: Enjoy ska from Cesspit, Chinese indie trio Orange Ocean, and more, plus Baybeats Budding Bands.
- Annexe Studio: Dive into post-hardcore/shoegaze, math rock, and electronic beats by bands like Mass of the Fermenting Dregs and Jade Eyes.
- Chillout Stage: Experience unplugged performances by bands like Capt’n Trips and The Kid and Krunkle.
- Festival Village: Relax and recharge in the festival village and check out the latest Keen and Baybeats merchandise.
