Festival Merdeka Rakyat PD

Eager to celebrate the National Day away from the hustle and bustle of the city life? Get a taste of local festivities at this beachside event in Port Dickson, about an hour’s drive from KL City Center. This festival will include a concert by local artistes, sales expo, fireworks display, food trucks, Beyblade Battle Tournament, and cultural performances spread out over five days. The main headliner is the PUBG Mobile Tournament which is also known as PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds!

In case you didn’t know, a bit like The Hunger Games where you start with nothing and have to scavenge and collect weapons and equipment. The game is ultimately a battle to the last player standing, with 100 players on an 8 x 8 km island. Each game can last up to about 30 minutes if you’re one of the last standing. Of course, you can die almost as soon as you’re on the ground. Winner, winner, chicken dinner. Excited? Well, go on, book a room at a hotel in PD and make the most of your Merdeka weekend!
