ART/ST Records at Katong offers a unique DIY experience where you can design, customise, and press a fully functional vinyl EP from scratch.
How Much Does ART/ST Records At Katong Cost?
ART/ST Records (pronounced “artist records”) is a cozy home studio in Katong that specialises in lathe-cut vinyl records. The studio is open from Fridays to Sundays and operates strictly by appointment.

Private Workshop (2.5–3 hours) – SG$388 for up to 2 people. You’ll get to customise and watch your own EP being made. Additional discs cost SG$100 each.

Live Demo Experience (1.5–2 hours) – SG$238 per person. A simpler, more affordable session that focuses on cutting your record without extra design customisation. Fits up to 4 participants.
Both experiences let you take home your very own 8-inch square record, ready to play on your turntable.

Duration: 1.5–3 hours depending on workshop type
What To Expect During Your Session
During the workshop, you’ll watch your EP being cut from start to finish. Beforehand, prepare your audio files — this can be anything from an original song to a sentimental voice recording. The only requirement: each track must be under 7 minutes long.

Private Workshop attendees also get to design their EP covers. Bring along personal photos, artwork, or cut-outs to incorporate into your design. Materials like acrylic paint, markers, stickers, and even an Instax printer are provided to help bring your creativity to life.
At the end, you’ll have not only a playable vinyl but also a piece of art that’s uniquely yours.
