Is there anything more likely to make people smile than a good pie? Flaky tops, buttery bottoms, warm fruit fillings, or cool, creamy centers, we are happy to enjoy this pastry-plus-filling combination in just about any form.
And while Christmas practically begs for a homemade pie (or, let’s be honest, several), most of us don’t have the time, tools or emotional bandwidth to wrestle with dough during peak holiday chaos. The good news is that Christmas pies in Singapore are well covered, with bakeries across the city turning out ready-made pies that taste just as celebratory as the ones grandma might make.
Want more sweet treats this holiday season in Singapore?
Burnt Ends Bakery releases its Christmas Minced Pies just once a year, and they disappear quickly, which tells you everything you need to know. Sold only in boxes of six, these pies take the classic English mince filling and turn up the volume: a rich mix of beef, oranges, apples, and cinnamon. “It’s our little Christmas flavour bomb,” the team likes to say, and once you crack through that golden pastry crust, the name makes perfect sense. The pies are available Dec. 18–24, with pickup in the early afternoon, and preorders tend to fill fast. Delivery opens exactly 30 days before your selected date, which encourages early planners, and leaves the rest of us hoping we get in before the last box goes. A limited seasonal release means one thing here: blink, and they’re gone.

Cold Storage might not be the first place you think of for Christmas pies, but the store’s seasonal offerings tend to win people over once the holiday rush begins. The Premium Seafood Pie is a good place to start. It is creamy and tastes far more ambitious than its supermarket origins suggest. The Salmon Spinach Quiche is another easy pick, especially if you are hosting a brunch crowd and want something that looks like you planned it.
Those who prefer beef have a few solid options. The Beef Shepherd’s Pie with minted peas uses slow-cooked mince and a smooth mash topping, and the fresh peas keep it from feeling too heavy. The Beef Red Wine Pie is richer, with chuck cooked down in red wine until the sauce is thick and full-flavoured, while the Beef and Mushroom Pie keeps things traditional with Australian beef in a savory gravy. All three reheat well, which makes them practical choices when guests arrive hungry, and timing gets a little unpredictable.

La Levain is best known for its croissants and cruffins, but once Christmas rolls around, the pies take on a life of their own. The Maple Pecan Pie is the crowd favorite. It is sweet with a maple finish and packed with enough pecans to make the pie feel heavier than it looks.
You could also go for the Apple Pie, which keeps things simple with Granny Smith apples and a light cinnamon warmth. The Cherry Pie offers a brighter, slightly sharper flavor thanks to its slow-cooked cherry filling. Both are dependable choices if you want a classic holiday dessert that does not try too hard.

Plain Vanilla began as a tiny Holland Village bakery built around simple, comforting bakes, and that spirit carries straight into its Christmas menu. The shop is known for its old-fashioned approach to pastry, with everything made in small batches using simple ingredients. Its holiday pies fit neatly into that philosophy.
The Christmas Mince Pies are full-size 4.5 inch pies filled with apple, dark and golden raisins, currants and a generous lift of Christmas spice along with brandy and rum for warmth. Each one is wrapped in sweet pastry and finished with a classic star. The bakery also offers a Turkey Chestnut Pot Pie, a savoury option with turkey, chestnuts, dried cranberries, celery and herbs baked under a puff pastry lid.

For many Singaporeans, the British retailer has become one of the city’s most reliable holiday pie stops. Start with the Classic Mince Pies, which remain the crowd favourite for a reason. They’re deep-filled with spiced mincemeat and plump vine fruits, brightened with citrus peel and tucked into a crumbly shortcrust shell. If you want something a little more grown-up, the Brandy Butter Mince Pies take the same cosy formula and drench it in Cognac, Marc de Champagne and a swirl of hand-piped brandy butter.
If you prefer your pastry lighter, the Puff Pastry Mince Pies offer a flaky alternative. There’s even a solid plant-based option under the Plant Kitchen line for those skipping dairy. And then there are the Rodney Reindeer Pies, stuffed not with fruit but with molten milk-chocolate brownie. Hard to argue with that.

Little Farms has grown from a single neighbourhood grocer into a well-loved destination for shoppers who care about clean, natural and ethically sourced food. The brand is known for its tidy produce displays, high-welfare meats and a commitment to working with trusted growers and makers around the world.
The highlight this Christmas is the Christmas Butternut Pumpkin Pie, a smooth, warmly spiced take on the classic pumpkin slice. It comes with a sour cream shortcrust and a smooth pumpkin filling, then gets a light topping of vanilla Chantilly and chocolate pearls. It is milder and less sugary than most holiday pies, which is probably why people who “don’t usually like pumpkin” end up finishing their slice anyway.

SuperNature is the place you visit when you are trying to make virtuous choices. The aisles are lined with organic produce, clean labels and people earnestly comparing nut milks. Then Christmas rolls in and the store quietly puts its halo on the shelf and brings out the mince pies.
Lottie Shaw’s mince pies are the most straightforward expression of the classic style. The filling is dense and fruit-forward, with a balanced sweetness that avoids excess, wrapped in a neat shortcrust pastry.
The Roots & Wings Organic mince pies move in a slightly more expressive direction. Made with West Country butter, British-milled flour and a measured splash of Cognac, they are produced in small batches.
SuperNature may be known for wellness-driven shopping, but at Christmas its pie shelf reflects a seasonal shift toward indulgence, executed with restraint.

Old Seng Choong comes with a built-in sense of nostalgia. Founded by local pastry chef Daniel Tay and named after his father’s bakery from the 1960s. The Turkey Bacon Cheesy Quiche is the one that pulls people in. Smoky turkey bacon and melted cheese come together in a filling that is rich, savoury and satisfying, the kind of pie that feels substantial enough to stand in for a meal. It is a reliable crowd-pleaser, especially when you want something hearty to balance out a dessert-heavy table.
The Truffle Mushroom Quiche adds a little contrast. Truffle-infused mushrooms folded into a creamy egg custard give it an earthy depth that feels festive without shouting for attention. If your idea of pie season includes something savoury alongside the sweets, Old Seng Choong makes a strong case for it.

Elijah Pies is best known for its wide-ranging menu and willingness to play with flavour. Over the years, the bakery has built a catalogue of more than 40 original pies, with long-running favourites like Wild Berry Lavender, Raspberry Ripple and Speculoos Hojicha leading the charge.
The Raspberry Ripple Pie is an easy entry point. Swirls of raspberry compote cut through a creamy cheese filling, all set on a buttery biscuit crust and finished with roasted pistachios. The Wild Berry Lavender Pie is lighter and more restrained, combining real berries and fresh yoghurt with a soft lavender note that stays in the background. Best served chilled.
Those in the mood for something richer usually land on the Nutella Pie. Built around dark chocolate and roasted hazelnuts, it delivers exactly what its name promises, and does so unapologetically

The story behind Dona Manis is well known in Katong. After years of working together, the baker affectionately known as Auntie Peng left to open her own banana pie stall a few doors down in Katong Shopping Centre. The split divided longtime customers, but the original bakery continued on, focused on the recipes that made it a neighbourhood fixture.
The Banana Pie ($26 whole; slices vary) is the shop’s claim to fame. A sweet, fragrant banana filling sits under a shower of crushed almonds, all tucked into a buttery, ultra-crumbly crust that has caused more than one customer to lose their slice mid-photo.
