Bird Paradise – Singapore’s Newest Feathered Attraction At Mandai

A New Era For Avian Wonders At Mandai In Singapore

Bird Paradise At Mandai In Singapore

Bird Paradise at Mandai Wildlife Reserve is Singapore’s newest avian haven, spread across 17 lush hectares and home to over 3,500 birds from more than 400 species. This next-generation bird park, operated by the Mandai Wildlife Group, replaces the iconic Jurong Bird Park and offers a globally inspired journey through eight expansive walk-through aviaries, each representing a unique habitat—from the African rainforests and South American wetlands to Southeast Asian rice terraces and Australian eucalyptus forests. Designed to reflect the birds’ natural behaviors and environments, these immersive habitats invite visitors to witness birds nesting, feeding, and foraging in settings that mirror their native ecosystems.

Highlights include Heart of Africa, a multi-sensory forest experience with canopy trails and misty streams, and Wings of Asia, where sloping terraces and bamboo groves create a sanctuary for rare species like the Baer’s Pochard and Milky Stork. Penguin Cove adds a cool twist with a state-of-the-art indoor habitat featuring King, Humboldt, Gentoo, and Northern Rockhopper Penguins. Bird Paradise blends innovation and heritage, carrying forward the legacy of Jurong Bird Park with features like the iconic heliconia collection, while setting a bold new standard for wildlife parks in the region.
