The Curious Sky At The Artground

The Curious Sky by Ng Fongyee is the latest multi-sensory arts play space inspired by elements of the weather. We often talk about the weather, but have we ever truly experienced the full spectrum of what it can bring? Come and join to sing in the rain, dance with the rainbow, hear the thunder rumble or simply look up for the endless possibilities The Curious Sky brings you. Fongyee is a multidisciplinary artist working mostly with kids and technology, sometimes both at the same time. She believes in learning through play and experiments with various mediums in her art to activate dialogue between people, objects and spaces. With The Curious Sky, she engages children of all ages by introducing different dimensions at each section of the exhibition. As a result, the works are immersive, sensorial and engaging.

The Artground aims to provide positive arts experiences across a variety of art forms for children aged 12 and under in an accessible space that welcomes children from every community. Throughout the year, they present interactive visual art spaces that not only allow children to engage in non-directive exploration and practise their motor skills but also to heighten their awareness of aesthetic elements and sense of appreciation.
