The March school holidays in Singapore are about to level up in the best way possible. Singapore Oceanarium’s Ocean Kids Festival runs from March 13 to April 12, 2026, transforming a classic aquarium day into an unforgettable mix of real marine science, creative play, and family bonding. Kids get to chat with actual divers, veterinarians and conservationists, craft their own ocean treasures, listen to live classical music drifting through the giant Open Ocean exhibit, and walk away with stories (and souvenirs) they’ll retell for weeks.
The highlight for many families is the Little Ocean Expert Series – perfect for curious 7–12 year olds. These 45-minute sessions (SG$15 each, pre-registration required) let small groups of up to 20 kids meet one of the Oceanarium’s specialists face-to-face. They learn about daily tools and tasks, then finish with a fun dress-up photo moment in mini lab coats, dive suits or uniforms. Every participant heads home with a free Axolotl plush keychain (worth SG$15), and one adult can join for free to watch or snap extra pics. It’s intimate, educational, and feels like a behind-the-scenes VIP pass.
